Hello, I’m Maria Cristina, although everyone calls me Cristina. I was born and raised in Rome, and I have always loved helping visitors feel welcome in my city.
Travel and hospitality have shaped both my personal and professional life. I studied languages, travelled extensively and improved my English with the support of my American host family. I began my career as a cabin crew member with Alitalia, then worked on Rome’s sightseeing buses and later as a receptionist in a well-known Roman hotel.
In 2006, I decided to create something of my own and started welcoming guests into my first holiday apartment. Today, through Apartmentalia, I personally manage four homes in Rome with the same care, attention and enthusiasm I had from the very beginning.
More than a place to stay
Apartmentalia is not a large or impersonal agency. I am a private owner, and I take care of each apartment and each guest personally.
I know how important it is to feel comfortable and supported when you are away from home. That is why I focus on clear communication, carefully prepared apartments and practical help before and during your stay.
Over the years, I have welcomed travellers from all around the world. Their feedback has helped me improve continuously, and I am always grateful for every suggestion, question and conversation.
